19 Aug Why do you need an SEO Audit for your site
Firstly, what is an SEO audit?
SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) audits will determine if the website is getting ranked (in search engines) effectively. As we all know, you can pay for online advertising and list your website at the top of the search results pages. However such method is not sustainable in the long-run. This is why companies work on both on-page and off-page SEO techniques to improve their organic search engine results. With an SEO Audit, you can validate if your existing techniques are useful for you, and if they are adequate – how you can improve etc.
Check out 5 simple SEO Tips here.
(1) If you notice your website not getting any traffic from search engines, your site might not even be indexed by search engines. An SEO Audit will help to find out the reason and you will need to resolve it asap.
(2) In the case where you notice a significant drop in your search traffic, it can also mean that you might be blacklisted by Google; or have recently made a change that resulted in this. SEO Audit will prevent your website traffic to continue to drop.
(3) High bounce rates or low conversion rates can also be due to poor SEO. Eg. If customers click on your website from the search results page but they immediately leave when they arrive, one possible reason could be that the search results description and details are different from your actual site. Make sure that your search results reflect what your business is about.
